BlogTouch for Blogger App Reviews

I was no longer able to add new posts to the blogspot app Ive used for years. Encountered the problem on three devices. Had to buy this new program to post and keep the old program for everything else. Had to buy the new app when the old app mysteriously stopped working. Now it takes more steps to do what Ive done for years.

I too was forced to get this app sent my blog or app started acting up. Not sure why Google discontinued blogger. This app cost me $4.99. Ive never spent that much on an app so I had a high expectations. Once I got used to it I found it was more functional than the old blogger app. I can actually edit my photos to place them in the correct place . When I needed help they responded very quickly. I blog every single day and overall I give the lead 4 stars. HTML feature enables me to shrink my YouTube videos to fit a blog.

Has nothing to do with your blogspot acct. It can see your blogs, but you cannot access them with this app. Save your 5 bucks, or wait until this developer improves the app. I feel very cheated.

The worst. You cant do anything on it. Dont waste your money.

If you try to make a post with a picture directly from the camera, it adds a huge white bar above it. Clearly an error in programming, its like it throws the rectangular picture in a square box. Also, you cant delete a post from within. And, when you delete a post elsewhere, e.g. Online, it still shows on this pathetic app. The bad reviews are right, this is awful. Would probably be easier to just transfer the whole blog to Wordpress or blogger since there are no more apps that work for blogger.

After writing my daily blog ... it frickin disappears! This was a colossal waste of $4.99. Crappy. Save your money!

Would be great if at least the app would recognize my blog. Keeps saying "no blog found"....how exactly do I get my $6 back??????

Keeps crashing when trying to add photo

You cannot edit the actual look of the blog. Just a huge waste of money. Im disappointed.

If youve invested years of blog posts with Blogger and have been completely frustrated with Google for not continuing their mobile app development for Blogger, then thank this Indie developer for getting the job done. I bought the app out of complete desperation, and very happy I did. I found some bugs within the first days of using the app, reported it to the developer- and he fixed them in the most current release! This is the only iPhone app that is usable (and supported) for Blogger. Good job, Denk! Keep up the great work.

Not even half a star. This app is HORRIBLE. I wasted $5. Ive been trying to publish a post since 7am. It is now noon! I am NOT happy. This needs to be fixed IMMEDIATELY.

If you are a Blogger blogger, and work from an iPad, this is, pretty much, the only game in town. I have not tried it on anything complex, but for my text based blog (and the occasional pic) it works fine. Which is good, since otherwise I would be attempting to post from the web interface, and that would not be pretty! Honest, if you want to blog on Blogger from an iPad, you need to support this app, and encourage the developer in his efforts. :)

Would be perfect if you dont have to upload a photo with your post. Im tired of trying. Its always a failure, ending with "error: retry". How infuriating.

I use this app almost daily and I love it, but Im having a few problems. When I insert a link, it posts at the bottom of the page. I have to scroll down to the bottom, copy it, scroll back and paste it where I wanted it. Sometimes, the page jumps and scrolls on its own when Im editing. I have to close and re-open the app. These issues are chronic and annoying.

I was writing my birth story of my first child that I had a week ago. I went back to do the final touches and found that what I had most recently written didnt save. I paid for this app and its not living up to what its supposed to do.

I find this a great blogging platform to use with my iPad. It is easy to use and intuitive. I only wish I could import pictures from my Google pictures app. Thats the only fault I have with it.

I wish I could add captions to the pictures AND have more font options available...

Doesnt work at all.

Ive been trying to use this app for the last month to update my blogspot blogs, but I just gave up. The UI is not intuitive and continually frustrating. I wish I could get my money back. Changing font colour is still a mystery. Even though the online editor in blogspot through a web browser is a little quirky on the iPad, I prefer it far better over this app. Im disappointed to say the least.
